Joël Thai is a well-rounded and young environmental engineer striving for excellence and driven by the passion to make our world a better place. At University of California, Berkeley and Texas Tech University Joël has specialized in water resources, environmental fluid mechanics, and hydrogeology.
Thanks to his top-level education and six years abroad he offers excellent problem-solving capabilities and is quick to assume new responsibilities. He is comfortable communicating with people from diverse backgrounds and being in the field from teaching Physics at UC Berkeley and supervising a construction jobsite with Veolia Water in Chicago.
Having developed a network with scholars from all around the world at International House Berkeley and having traveled to 30+ countries on five continents, his cultural awareness is sophisticated enough to deal with today's multicultural clients and global projects.
During his spare time Joël takes photographs to share the beauty of our planet and enjoys outdoor activities, from scuba diving to triathlon and skiing.
